Since 2004 Thomas Pocklington Trust has invited Oasis Media to organise and run consultative workshop events.
Event management
Each of the three events we have run for Pocklington has focussed on a specific aspect of their work with people with sight loss. We have taken responsibility for all aspects of the event management process, including helping Pocklington identify appropriate delegates and organisations with skills and/or expertise relevant to the issues they wanted to explore. This has also enabled the Pocklington Trust to develop its own contact database.
Oasis Media consultants have also been commissioned to assist with event management for Thomas Pocklington Trust's 50th anniversary programme of events, which will include, on 1October 2008, the hosting of a national lighting and design seminar. Oasis Media will also be undertaking media work relating to this anniversary year, which will run from April 2008 to March 2009.
